How to Verify an Active TESDA NC II

You can verify the validity and status of your TESDA National Certificate (NC II) online through the official TESDA database.

Here are the step-by-step options to check your record:

Method 1: Via the TESDA Website (Registry of Certified Workers)

Go to the Official TESDA Portal: Visit tesda.gov.ph.

Access Verifications: Hover over the "Verifications" tab in the main navigation menu and click "Registry of Certified Workers."

Select Your Issuance Year Range:

• Choose "2017 Onwards Issuance" (if issued from 2017 to present).
  
  
• Choose "2016 Issuance and Earlier" (for older certificates).

Enter Your Information: Enter any of the following details as printed on your physical/digital certificate:

• Full Name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name)
  
  
• Certificate Number (e.g., NC-2023...)

Check the Output Details: If your certificate is valid, the search result will display your name, qualification title, certificate number, date of issuance, and expiration date.

Active vs. Expired Status: If the expiration date shown in the database has already passed, your certificate is considered inactive/expired, and you will need to apply for renewal.

Method 2: Via the eGovPH App / e-TESDA Portal

TESDA credentials can also be verified through the centralized Philippine government services platform:

Log in to the eGovPH Mobile App or visit tesda.e.gov.ph.

Navigate to TESDA Digital Certificates under government services.

Your active National Certificates linked to your full legal name and government record will load automatically as downloadable e-Certificates, displaying your active validity window.

What if your record isn't showing up?

Spelling Errors: Ensure your name entry matches the exact spelling and middle name format recorded on your original assessment paperwork.

Database Updates: Newly issued certificates can take a few weeks to a month after the assessment date to be uploaded by the regional/provincial office.

Verification Inquiry: If you hold a genuine physical certificate that doesn't appear online, you can email or present a copy directly to the TESDA Regional/Provincial Office that conducted your assessment so they can index your record in the central registry.
